Microsoft Releases Internet Explorer 9 Beta

IE9 Logo

Finally, Microsoft released Internet Explorer 9 Beta yesterday, improving greatly IE8 browser with new features and policy:

  • Web Standards oriention with support for HTML5 and CSS3
  • Clean and minimalistic UI that emphasizes the web and improves the user experience
  • New and Faster Javascript engine: Chakra

IE9 represents an awesome improvement from its predecessor and clearly drives Microsoft in the right direction. However, in my humble opinion, it does not offer anything new that other browsers such as Opera, and Chrome haven’t had for over almost a year already.

Btw, I encountered countless problems while trying to install IE9 (the installation crashed on me thrice). If you find any problem whilst installing the browser, you might want to take a look at the troubleshooting website or use this other installing package.
